When you first download Eidoo, you notice in the homepage that it supports six blockchains: Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Fantom and Avalanche. However, the potential of Eidoo is far greater than this, as it supports any EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) compatible chain, and not only the ones displayed by default.
To add more blockchains, tap on the Settings icon, then search and select “Networks” (1) among the Preferences. Here, you can see the ones that you already added to Eidoo. To add a new network, click on the button below (2) and select one of the two options:
- Manual. By choosing manual, you are required to insert the data identifying the blockchain required as the RPC URL, Chain ID, Name, Block Explorer URL and Symbol.
- Explore (3). In this page, there is a list of tens of blockchains available. To add one, first of all click on “Connect Wallet” (4) above and confirm your choice through the dedicated pop up. Now, you can either use the search bar to find the network you are looking for, or scroll the page until you find it. You can also choose to view the list with the dark or the light theme thanks to the switch on the top right corner. When you find the blockchain desired, tap on “Add to Eidoo” and confirm your choice (5) (6).
✅ Done, enjoy limitless DeFi with Eidoo!
