Eidoo automatically detects and displays the NFT one holds on the Ethereum blockchain. However, some NFT may not be shown, as well some may be having NFTs on other blockchains supported by the wallet. In order to see these NFTs on the Eidoo wallet app, you shall import them manually. Here’s how.
First of all, you shall be looking at the NFT details on the blockchain explorer of the blockchain the NFT you want to import is in. You can access it from any browser (suggested if you want to do it by scanning the QR code) or directly on app by tapping on the QR code symbol under the balance, choosing the blockchain and then tapping on the compass below.
Once you are on the explorer, tap “ERC-721 Token Txns” and find the NFT you want to import from the list of transactions. Now, tap on the name of the collection of the NFT under the category “Token”.
From here, you can proceed either scanning the QR code of the NFT collection or copying its contract (1):
- If you want to use the QR code, you should be viewing the blockchain explorer from the browser. Once you tap on the NFT collections contract, you will notice right after the contract, a QR code symbol. Tap on it and scan it from the mobile through the Eidoo app.
- If you prefer to copy and paste the contract, feel free to proceed on mobile. Copy the contract of the NFT collection. You may now return to the Eidoo app, move to NFTs, tap on “Add NFT” (2) and paste the contract of the NFT collection (the symbol should compile automatically) (3) and finally tap on “Add”.
✅ Done! You will now be able to see your NFT in various shapes (try to double-tap on it!) (4) (5) as well as see its characteristics by tapping once on it.
