With Ethereum's transition to Proof of Stake, some miners have created a hard fork of the network that continues to rely on the Proof of Work consensus protocol. As a result of this type of hard fork, all token balances from each address on the starting blockchain are replicated on the new blockchain, so for example for every ETH that was held in the wallet, one ETHW is received.
Eidoo's is a multi-chain wallet, allowing you to add all EVM-type blockchains, including the Ethereum Proof of Work blockchain, and manage the tokens in them.
Follow the steps listed in this guide to add the ETH PoW network to the Eidoo wallet:
- First, access the settings from the button provided in the quick action bar at the bottom of the homepage.
- Tap on Networks -> Add custom network -> Manual
- Enter the following values:
RPC URL: https://mainnet.ethereumpow.org/
Chain ID: 10001
Name: ETHW-mainnet
Block Explorer URL: https://www.oklink.com/en/ethw/
Symbol: ETHW
✅ Done! Now all you have to do is click on "Add Network" and approve the operation from the pop-up.
